How to Print
- 1. Open the editor and select your thermal printer's label size (e.g., 4×6″, DYMO 30252)
- 2. Design your label — add text, barcodes, images, QR codes
- 3. Export as PDF at the exact label dimensions
- 4. Print from your browser — the PDF matches your label roll perfectly
Tip: In your print dialog, set "Actual size" (not "Fit to page") and select the correct paper size for your thermal printer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to install printer drivers?
You need the basic driver for your thermal printer (most install automatically via USB). But you don't need any special label software — OpenLabelMaker replaces DYMO Connect, Zebra Designer, BarTender, and similar tools.
Can I use this with a Zebra printer on Mac?
Yes. Design your label in OpenLabelMaker, export as PDF, and print using your Mac's built-in print dialog. Set the paper size to match your label (e.g., 4×6″).
What about continuous roll vs die-cut labels?
OpenLabelMaker supports both. For die-cut labels, choose your exact preset (DYMO 30252, etc.). For continuous rolls, enter custom dimensions matching your desired label size.
