Trinn 1: Physical Setup

1. Remove the skriver from the box and remove all protective tape
2. Place the skriver on a stable, level surface near your computer
3. Connect the power adapter to the skriver
4. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet
5. Connect the USB-kabel between your computer and the skriver
6. Press the power button - the status light should turn blue

Trinn 2: Installer DYMO Drivere

The LabelWriter 550 requires proper Drivere to function, but you don't need the full DYMO Connect programvare:

1. Download DYMO Label programvare v8.7.4 or newer from DYMO's nettstedet
2. Run the Installerer with Administrator privileges
3. Select "Custom Installeration" when prompted
4. Choose only "DYMO Label Framework" and "Drivere"
5. Uncheck "DYMO Connect" and "DYMO Label programvare"

7. Your LabelWriter 550 should now appear in Devices and skrivers

Mac Driver Installeration

4. Thread the label: Pull the first few Etiketter through the label slot

7. Test feed: Press the Form Feed button to advance to the first label
