What's Included in the Box

Stap 1: Physical Setup

1. Remove the Druker from the box and remove all protective tape
2. Place the Druker on a stable, level surface near your computer
3. Connect the power adapter to the Druker
4. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet
5. Connect the USB-kabel between your computer and the Druker
6. Press the power button - the status light should turn blue

Stap 2: Installeer DYMO Drivers

The LabelWriter 550 requires proper Drivers to function, but you don't need the full DYMO Connect software:

Windows Driver Installeeration

1. Download DYMO Label Software v8.7.4 or newer from DYMO's website
2. Run the Installeerer with Administrator privileges
3. Select "Custom Installeeration" when prompted
4. Choose only "DYMO Label Framework" and "Drivers"
5. Uncheck "DYMO Connect" and "DYMO Label Software"
6. Volledige the Installeeration and restart if prompted
7. Your LabelWriter 550 should now appear in Devices and Drukers

Mac Driver Installeeration

2. Open the .dmg file and run the Installeerer
3. Follow the Installeeration prompts
4. Grant necessary permissions in System Preferences
5. Add the Druker in System Preferences > Drukers & Scanners

Stap 3: Loading Labels

The LabelWriter 550 uses direct thermal Druking technology, so no ink cartridges or ribbons are needed:

1. Open the top cover: Press the cover release button and lift
2. Remove old Labels: Take out any existing label roll
3. Insert new roll: Place Labels with the thermal coating facing the Druk head (Labels facing down)
4. Thread the label: Pull the first few Labels through the label slot
5. Align the roll: Make sure it sits snugly against the right side Gids
6. Close the cover: Press down until you hear a click
7. Test feed: Press the Form Feed button to advance to the first label
