Trin 1: Physical Setup

1. Remove the printer from the box and remove all protective tape
2. Place the printer on a stable, level surface near your computer
3. Connect the power adapter to the printer
4. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet
5. Connect the USB kabel between your computer and the printer
6. Press the power button - the status light should turn blue

Trin 2: Installer DYMO Drivere

The LabelWriter 550 requires proper Drivere to function, but you don't need the full DYMO Connect software:

Windows Driver Installation

1. Download DYMO Label software v8.7.4 or newer from DYMO's hjemmeside
2. Run the installer with Administrator privileges
3. Select "Custom Installation" when prompted
4. Choose only "DYMO Label Framework" and "Drivere"
5. Uncheck "DYMO Connect" and "DYMO Label software"
